We opened our Freeport location in 1991, but the Federal style house we call home has been a part of downtown Freeport since the early 1800s. Located on Main Street, this store features two floors of outstanding jewelry, crafts, and home accessories in a beautiful old house with lots of natural light, a parking lot, and rumor has it, some friendly ghosts.
This location has the reputation with locals as the place to go in Freeport for attentive service and a staff that has a knack for finding you just the right thing no matter what or who you’re looking for. And though Freeport is known as an outlet shopper’s paradise, it’s also home to a number of areas of historical interest and outdoor activities as well as some surprising entertainment.
If we were going to spend some time in Freeport, we’d hit up the shops (of course), grab lunch at Gritty’s (local beer, good food, a fenced in play area for kids) or Petrillo’s (delicious pizza with unique ingredients), then make our way to Wolfe’s Neck State Park to work off all that food. Then we’d come back in to town and head to dinner at Azure Café for Italian food made with fresh, local, organic ingredients, or Conundrum for some wine and a light dinner. We’d come back the next day to purchase that thing we can’t stop thinking about, and get lunch at the Harraseeket Lunch and Lobster for fresh off the boat seafood and outdoor dining. And if it happens to be a Saturday during the summer, wander on over to LL Bean to catch one of their lawn concerts, part of their popular summer concert series.
